We are very pleased to announce that the highly anticipated Release Candidate of CompuTec WMS for Android devices is now available to CompuTec partners and customers for testing. With the full release, CompuTec customers will be able to use CompuTec WMS on almost any Android device (Android 6 (API 23) and newer).

We’ve given the interface a bit of a facelift but other than that, everything works exactly the same as usual, so there is no need to provide any additional training to current users. You get the same CompuTec WMS you know, but with a new and improved interface that you can use on a much wider range of devices.

Most CompuTec WMS functionalities are already present and accounted for in the new Android version. This includes support for barcode scanning on devices with a camera and the use of industrial weight scales. There are a few functionalities which we will be adding a little later in subsequent versions such as the ability to trigger label printing for those using CompuTec Labels and document signatures but the bulk of CompuTec WMS transactions have already been implemented.

Please note that we are still supporting the Windows CE version and CompuTec WMS for SAP Business One 9.3 will be supported until the end of 2022.
