Tired from the travelling but energized by a myriad of new ideas, intriguing conversations and valuable insights, the CompuTec team have just returned from Biz.One conference in Florida. The three day event took place October 22-24 at the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate and it was such a success for us here at CompuTec that we are already planning for next year’s conference.

 
Firstly we would like to thank all those who dropped by the CompuTec stand. It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know some new faces from the SAP Business One world and to connect with some really interesting companies who are looking to leverage their SAP Business One implementations. It was also great to catch up with some of our partners in the Americas and to solidify our relationships.
 

We would especially like to thank the fascinating Richard Duffy for a lovely chat and for his two quite brilliant keynote speeches. His presentation on cloud security was of incredibly high value. Richard wasn’t the only great speaker at the conference though. Our team (especially the golf fans!) especially enjoyed championship golf coach, David Leadbetter’s opening presentation and Jannell MacAuley of the US Air Force’s thoughts on leadership. From a business perspective Idit Saguey’s preview of what we can expect from SAP Business One in the coming months and years was of tremendous interest and Drew Bates’ presentation of the latest developments in facial recognition software certainly gave us some food for thought. If you weren’t at the conference or you missed any of the sessions you can watch all the presentations via the Eventful Conferences app and in fact, we would really encourage you to do so.

 

Back at the CompuTec booth, the buzz was all about CompuTec Holo (a prototype augmented reality solution for advanced manufacturing) which was very well received and actually about CompuTec WMS (Warehouse Management Solution), which has recently undergone a huge transformation and expansion and has consequently been attracting a lot of attention. It was also a great pleasure to introduce some of the many new functions of our lead product, CompuTec ProcessForce (a comprehensive solution for advanced manufacturers) to customers and partners and of course get their feedback so we can keep on expanding the potential of our solutions.

 

So in sum a good time, and far too many Krispy Kreme donuts, were had by all. If you didn’t make it this year, we really can’t recommend highly enough that you make the effort to come to this highly informative, engaging and vibrant conference in 2019.
